Recovery teams retrieved three more bodies downstream about 2 kms from the Nagarmadi waterfalls in Chendia, on Monday morning and efforts were on to locate another person missing since the tragedy struck a group of picnickers from Raia, Vasco and Ponda on Sunday afternoon.
The teams recovered the bodies of Siddesh Chari (22) of Vasco, Sameer Gawade (32) of Ponda and Marceilna Mexica Estibeiro (38) of Raia on Monday morning, a day after the bodies of Francila Pires Fernandes (21) and Fiona Rodrigues Pacheco (28), both from Raia, were retrieved from the Nagarmadi waterfalls.
