Refuting the verdict of the retired Goa Lokayukta, P K Misra on his (minister’s) abilities, Ports Minister, Michael Lobo said that the findings of the Lokayukta were totally wrong and he would write to the chief minister on the issue.
He also said that Justice (retd) P K Misra had intentionally targetted ministers because he was not given an extension.
“Who is he (Goa Lokayukta) to recommend or tell whether a minister is fit or unfit? People come up with vague complaints and the Lokayukta passes order just because he is not given an extension,” Lobo said.
“I do not agree with the findings of the Lokayukta and will soon write to the chief minister in the matter,” he added.
The minister further said that he would file a defamation case against Justice (retd) Misra for dragging his name in the matter.
