Patient handling services start at ESI Covid hospital

The government on Tuesday stated that it had started patient handling services at the ESI Hospital.

In a tweet, the Health minister said, "Happy to announce that we have started patient handling services at the ESI Covid hospital. Goa is the first State to start such a service for safe patient handling."

"In addition to treatment of patients, drug therapy, nutrition, etc, patients also require assistance with numerous things, to cater to the same. Patient handling services have commenced at ESI Hospital."

PANAJIChief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday said the State government has filed a contempt petition in the Supreme Court against Karnataka in connection with the illegal diversion of Mhadei water.“Contempt petition has been filed in the Supreme Court today against Karnataka for illegal diversion of Mhadei water. We will continue to fight for our right,” stated Sawant in a tweet on Tuesday.
