Mhadei issue: Govt files contempt petition in SC against Karnataka

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday said the State government has filed a contempt petition in the Supreme Court against Karnataka in connection with the illegal diversion of Mhadei water.

“Contempt petition has been filed in the Supreme Court today against Karnataka for illegal diversion of Mhadei water. We will continue to fight for our right,” stated Sawant in a tweet on Tuesday.
