We want those who lose land to be adequately compensated and the plan to be displayed for public viewing,” said Tushar Tople, councillor of the area. rCouncillor Sanjay Mishal requested that the council should take up widening and beautification of the road up till Housing Board, Mapusa. rFormer chairperson Sandip Falari said the proposal to develop the road was indeed a good project and will benefit a lot of people.
Widening of footpath gets nod
As expected, the Mapusa Municipal Council gave its nod for widening and construction of footpath along the road from Court Junction to St Xavier’s College, Mapusa.
