Wild boar attacks man
VALPOI: A 48-year-old resident of Hivre-Sattari was severely injured after he was attacked by a wild boar at Hivrem on Tuesday.
According to sources, Ankush Gaonkar had taken his cattle for grazing near the village road when he was attacked by the wild boar. He was lying on the road with grievous injuries to his legs and hands.
Later, the villagers moved him to CHC Valpoi, where he is undergoing medical treatment.
