Information and Technology Minister Rohan Khaute has said that the government will bring in industries which are going generate revenue and employment for the State.
"We have created an environment such that good entrepreneurs come to the State. Simultaneously the local youth will be trained to meet the requirements of the industries," said Khaunte.
He added that electric vehicles and mobile manufacturing industries can be brought into the Tuem industrial estate.
"We have to see that locals get business," he added.
Khaunte said that logistic connectivity-wise, Goa is much superior, adding "The only thing is that we have to attract the right investors."
The Minister said that he will be meeting Union Ministers of related ministries to put forward proposals for Goa.
He also said that the skilling of youth will be done as per the requirement of industries adding that things will be done infrastructure-wise additional.
He said that the electricity sub-station upgrade will be done.
He also said that the Mopa Link road is important and will see that the road is done at a fast pace.
