Window damaged in fire at Shiroda
PONDA: A window of a house at Karai-Shiroda caught fire, after fire from dry grass spread on Sunday afternoon.
Ponda fire station personnel informed that they received a call at about 2.55 pm stating that a house was on fire. “Our fire fighters rushed to the site and found that the window of the house was on fire and proceeded to douse the flames. No one was in the house at the time of the incident,” the fire personnel informed.
Fire fighters Nitin Naik, YS Naik, PV Gawade, SP Naik and KS Naik took part in the fire fighting operation.
