Left with no option, residents in many areas had to get water from private water tankers.
“At around 7 am when I opened the tap as usual, I was shocked to find no water flowing from pipeline. For almost a week, the water pressure was very low. But we did not expect this from the water department,” said Suman N from Peddem, Mapusa.
Complaints of low pressure and erratic water supply have been the order of the day for more than a week in Mapusa.
