Noted YouTuber and influencer Ranveer Allahbadia, known by his alias Beer Biceps, narrowly escaped a life-threatening incident in Goa on Christmas Eve.
He and his actress girlfriend, Nikki Sharma, were rescued from drowning at a beach.
Ranveer detailed the ordeal in an Instagram post on Christmas Day.
An avid ocean swimmer since childhood, he explained that they were swimming in the open sea when an underwater current swept them away.
“After a 5-10 minute struggle, we called for help and were promptly rescued by a family of five swimming nearby,” Ranveer wrote. The rescuers included an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer and his wife from the Indian Revenue Service (IRS).
“This experience left us feeling both blank and grateful. We felt God’s protection throughout the incident,” he added.
