Zuari Nagar youth drowns at Collem

PONDA: A youth from Zuari Nagar drowned in Dudhsagar river on Friday.

Collem police received information from the 108 ambulance paramedics that Abrahim Karu (21) had drowned at Signal Cond in Collem.

Police investigations revealed that a group of 11 students of MES College in Zuari Nagar had gone for a picnic at Collem and had gone for a swim, when the incident took place.

Police conducted the inquest and referred the body for an autopsy to the GMC hospital at Bambolim.
