"I am aware of the problem of water shortage in Cortalim and PWD will lay a new 600 mm underground pipeline," said Dhavalikar.
Responding to complaints that the stretch of road between Cortalim Cross junction and Verna slope was without illumination and was an accident prone zone due to movement of heavy machinery in the area, he also promised to illuminate the entire stretch of road within a month.
"I will make sure that the entire stretch of road will have street lights within a month," he assured.
