With police scrutinising social media posts and tracking call records of all those linked to the case, sources told The Goan that videos uploaded by Kankonkar on Dev Khapreshwar are under probe.
In the clips, the activist had voiced disappointment over the Devasthan's relocation and criticised the authorities, questioning the intent behind the move.
It may be recalled that the activist alleged at the site of the attack on Thursday that the group while assaulting him said, “Do you wish to be the “Rakhandar” (protector) of Goa? Let us show you.”
