1 Covid death, 66 new cases recorded

One Covid-related death was recorded in the mortality bulletin of the Directorate of Health Services on Sunday raising the total number of Covid deaths in Goa so far to 747.

The deceased person is a 60 year-old from Oxel who passed away at Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim.

The Health Department has detected 66 new cases from among the 1,523 samples tested in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of 832 cases are currently active.

The total confirmed cases till date stand at 51,856 of which 50,277 have recovered so far. The recovery rate in Goa is pegged at 96.95 per cent.
