A 34-year-old from Dharbandora died due to Covid-19 at Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim. He was suffering from Hepatitis C and admitted to GMC on February 5.
With this, the Covid victim count of Goa has climbed to 779.
Meanwhile, the Health Department has recorded 42 new cases of the infection from among the 1,064 samples tested in the last 24 hours. The total confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Goa have now touched 54,235 of which 52,910 have recovered and 546 are presently active.
