Two riders were injured after their two-wheelers collided with each other at Pansule-Dharbandora junction on Wednesday night.
The incident took place at about 10 pm and both riders, Sudesh Gaonkar (28) of Mollem, and Sadik Shaikh (18) from Pratapnagar have been admitted to the Goa Medical College Hospital in Bambolim.
Sudesh Gaonkar is employed abroad and was supposed to leave next week to resume his job on a cruise liner. The junction is considered notorious for accidents and locals claim many persons have lost their lives in mishaps at the site.
