Three more Covid-related deaths were recorded in the state raising the total Covid victim count of the state to 693.
The deceased persons include a 35-year-old from Margao, who was brought dead at Hospicio and tested positive for Covid in the postmortem, an 85-year-old man from Verna and a 58-year-old woman from Quepem who passed away at Goa Medical College and Hospital in Bambolim.
A total of 117 new cases of the infection were detected from among the 2,003 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
With this, the total confirmed cases have now touched 48,241. Of these, the active infections are 1,416 while 46,132 have recovered.
