In a case that has caused some concern to public health officials, a 48-year-old man from Siolim was among the three who succumbed to Covid in the 24-hours of Thursday-Friday.
He had ignored symptoms for 4-5 days and when brought to the Siolim Primary Health Centre (PHC), he was dead.
He reportedly had a cough and was experiencing breathlessness for some days, according to a relative's account to the Siolim PHC.
Health officials said a private practitioner had examined him and recommended a Covid test but he didn't get himself tested.
Meanwhile, a total of 124 new Covid cases were reported from the 1,800-odd tests conducted in the Thursday-Friday 24-hours.
