37% of registered persons spoke at North Goa hearing

PANAJI
Only 37 per cent of the persons who had registered their names actually spoke at the public hearing of the draft Coastal Zone Management Plan (CZMP) in Campal on Thursday.

According to North Goa Collector Ajit Roy, 163 persons had registered their names, but only 61 of them ended up speaking at the public hearing in Campal.

Asked when the minutes of the meeting would be uploaded and made available on the department website, Roy said the GCZMA Member Secretary Dasharath Redkar would be the right authority to comment in the matter. Despite efforts, Redkar did not respond to calls in this regard.
