Four persons from Bardez have been arrested on charges of outraging the modesty of a woman at Advalpal-Bicholim on Friday.
According to reports, Chandramohan Nasnodkar, Deepak Chari, Anandrao Nasnodkar, Shubhash Nasnodkar and Jawaharlal Shetye were accused of recording video footage of a 34-year-old woman, while she was involved in some cleaning work in her property. This led to an argument between the woman and the accused.
Some of the accused are alleged to have outraged the modesty of the woman, while some others have been accused of threatening her.
Acting on her complaint, Bicholim police arrested four accused, Chandramohan Nasnodkar, Deepak Chari, Anandrao Nasnodkar and Shubhash Nasnodkar under Sections 323, 354, 354A, 509, 5056 (ii) and 427 IPC. further investigations are in progress.
