Mandrem Police along with the Lady Platoon of IRBN, detained five Ugandan females during a combing operation in Khalchawada-Arambol, after they were allegedly found soliciting customers.
The five Ugandan nationals were also found to have been staying in the country without valid documents. The five women were later lodged at the Mapusa detention centre.
In another case, Mandrem Police booked Bangi Agines Nambalirwa (40), also from Uganda, for allegedly staying at Khalchawada-Arambol without valid travel documents. The foreign national was booked under Section 23(a) of the Immigration and Foreigners Act 2025.
