Bardez recorded 94 positive cases on Saturday with Candolim Primary Health Centre (PHC) contributing the highest number of cases.
Candolim PHC reported 33 cases followed by Porvorim PHC and Mapusa urban health centre with 20 cases each.
Colvale PHC recorded the least number of cases at 3.
Candolim PHC Health Officer Dr Roshan Nazareth informed that nine persons tested positive in Reis Magos, six each in Candolim and Calangute, four in Pilerne, three each in Saligao and Nerul and one each in Arpora and Sangolda.
In Porvorim PHC, 10 persons tested positive in Socorro, six in Salvador do Mundo and two each in Penha de France and Guirim.
According to Health Officer at Mapusa Urban Health Centre, five persons tested positive in Xelpem, four in Shettya-vaddo/Peddem, two each in Altinho and Cunchelim and one each in Housing Board, Dangui Colony, Dattawadi, Morod, Ekta Nagar, Carrasvaddo and Mapusa centre.
A total of 10 persons tested positive in the jurisdiction of Siolim PHC. Five persons tested positive in Canca, two each in Assagao and Siolim and one in Anjuna.
Health Officer at Aldona PHC, Dr Preetam Naik informed that eight persons tested positive in Aldona centre. Two persons each tested positive in Aldona and Bastora and one each in Uccasaim, Moira, Olaulim and Nachinola.
In Colvale PHC, two persons tested positive in Colvale and one in Tivim.
Lowest single-day cases in Pernem
PERNEM: Pernem recorded its lowest Covid count on a single day in a number of months, with only six new cases being reported in the taluka on Saturday.
The new cases were detected in Morjim (1), Korgao (1), Paliem (1), Arambol (2) and Tuem (1), taking the total tally to 1,516 cases in the taluka.
Mopa leads the list of most number of cases recorded with 210, followed by Mandrem (182), Pernem town (136), Tuem (113), Dhargal (91), Korgao (88) and Arambol (87). So far, 16 people have succumbed to the virus.
