The Covid-19 cases continue to grow at a flat rate with 97 positive cases recorded in Bardez on Sunday.
Among the six health centres in the taluka, Porvorim primary health centre reported 33 cases followed by Mapusa urban health centre with 25.
In the jurisdiction of the Porvorim PHC, Socorro recorded 15 positive cases followed by Britona with 13 cases, four in Salvador do Mundo and one in Guirim.
At Mapusa urban health centre, four persons tested positive in Housing Board, three each in Carrasvaddo, Ansabhat, Gaunsavaddo and Shetya-vaddo, two each in Xelpem and Khorlim and one each in Angod, Raj vaddo, Mapusa detention centre, Morod and Ganeshpuri.
Health Officer at Colvale PHC, Dr Damodar Narvenkar informed that a total of 11 cases were recorded at the centre. Six persons tested positive in Colvale, two each in Tivim and Nadora and one in Revora.
A total of 10 cases were recorded in the jurisdiction of Candolim PHC. Health Officer, Dr Roshan Nazareth said four persons tested positive in Candolim, three in Pilerne, two in Calangute and one in Saligao.
Health Officer at Siolim PHC, Dr Sadhna Shetye informed that nine persons were infected with the virus at the centre. Two each tested positive in Parra, Anjuna, Canca and Siolim and one in Oxel.
According to the Health Officer at Aldona PHC, Dr Preetam Naik nine positive cases were recorded at the centre. All nine cases were from two families living in Aldona.
