AAP intensifies Parivartan Yatra in 5 constituencies

PANAJI

Aam Aadmi Party vice president Pratima Coutinho, AAP Curchorem incharge leader Gabriel Fernandes and AAP Joint Secretary James Fernandes, AAP Cuncolim assembly in-charge Prashant Naik, AAP vice president Captain Venzy Viegas and AAP leader Namdev Mashelkar organised a Parivartan Yatra in Navelim, Curchorem, Cuncolim, Benaulim and St Andre respectively.
While addressing the gathering in Navelim, AAP vice president Pratima Coutinho said, "Despite Luizinho Faleiro rising to the position of Minister and Chief Minister, Navelim has remained backward. All those elected have ever done is to develop themselves. Currently, the BJP government has been playing with the future of youth of Goa. Favoritism in giving jobs is injustice to the Goan youth. Under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi is free from favoritism and corruption in government hirings. AAP is the only hope for Goa".
AAP Curchorem incharge leader Gabriel Fernandes said, "It has been 10 years since Power minister Nilesh Cabral has been elected in the constituency. The expectations Curchorem people had from their MLA have not been met. Cabral earlier had promised a sports complex and mining bypass, but this promise was never fulfilled. People want a change. AAP is the only party who works for common citizens."
"Both the BJP and the Congress have been elected in Cucolim, but there has been little progress. In Chandor and Guirdolim, there is no primary health care facility. Although Cuncolim is a city, the government is attempting to bring healthcare under the Balli primary health centre. If the AAP wins power, I will build a 50-bed urban health centre,” AAP leader Prashant Naik stated.
AAP Vice President Captain Venzy Viegas from Navelim said, "Today, senior citizens in the constituency are neglected and no government has put a system in place to ensure their welfare. Our senior citizen-centric manifesto will resolve various issues and concerns related to seniors who have contributed so much to this state and country at large."
"During the last elections the sitting MLA betrayed the trust of the people by switching over sides from the Congress to the BJP. Even though today he is in the ruling party, no development has happened. The youth of St Andre are very dejected as the MLA here has not cared about their employment. The MLA has not provided any support to the traditional occupations, especially during the pandemic. These families appreciate the initiative of Rs 5000 as support which Arvind Kejriwal has announced for those impacted by the tourism slowdown," said AAP leader Namdev Mashelkar from St Andre.
