The Tourism Department has floated a Rs 22.83 crore tender for the ‘Creek Experience’ project in Porvorim under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 Scheme. The project covers Pomburpa Spring, Torda Lake, Salai Creek Road Promenade, Torda, Paitona, Ambirna Creek Road Promenade, Malim Junction, and Holy Cross Junction among others.
A week earlier, another Rs 110 crore tender was issued for a Town Square in Porvorim under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) Scheme.
Spread across 10,923 sq metres of Goa Housing Board land, the project will create a multifunctional cultural hub featuring five zones including an amphitheatre, basement parking for 200 vehicles, a market court, a food court, etc.
