Angod roads to be restored soon, promises Mapusa MLA

MAPUSA

Mapusa MLA Joshua D’Souza acknowledged the hardships faced by Angod residents due to poor road conditions but assured them that the ongoing infrastructure work would bring long-term benefits.

“I understand the difficulties, but we are providing essential upgrades, including underground LT and HT power lines, a new water pipeline and sewerage connections,” D’Souza said.

He emphasized that Angod is undergoing a comprehensive transformation, with all key utilities being revamped. Once water pipeline testing is complete, road restoration will commence.

“Most roads in Mapusa town will be addressed before the monsoon,” he assured.

D’Souza also highlighted progress on the Mapusa-Canca road widening project and the complete renovation of the tourist hostel. He urged residents to be patient, promising significant improvements once the work is completed.
