OLD GOA
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday warned that anybody caught accepting bribes for government jobs would be put behind bards and appealed to people to complain about such incidents.

Sawant was replying to a question when asked for his reaction of allegation of the Congress that bribes of Rs 12-15 lakh are being demanded for government jobs.

“They should provide proof of anybody seeking bribe for jobs and should also complain about the same. I will see to it that such people are put behind bars,” Sawant stated, while appealing to the public to inform about demands for bribe.

“This government is transparent as far as recruitment is concerned. And if anyone is found taking money, complain to me and the police. Such people will be put behind bars. Instead of making allegations, a complaint should be lodged,” said the chief minister.
