CAG condoles Fr Stan's death

The Catholic Association of Goa deeply condoles the death of Fr Stan Swamy who passed away yesterday. "He worked tirelessly for the upliftmeant of the downtrodden and the poor and his life will surely inspire all the people. His work especially for the welfare of the tribal community is remarkable," says a CAG press release. 

It is painful to note the sufferings he had to go through while he fought relentlessly for securing justice to the people.The life of Fr Swamy was a life of service and sacrifice to help the needy and the helpless and he worked till his last breath for the betterment of the society, the press release adds. In the passing away of Fr Swamy, the country has lost a devoted son and humanity as such has lost a leading light. We at the CAG join fellow citizens in paying our homage to the soul of Fr Stan Swamy and pray that his soul rest in eternal peace, says the press release. We must reaffirm our commitment to work for the betterment of our society in the footsteps of Fr Swamy which will be a real tribute to the memory of Fr Swamy, the CAG press release concludes.
