Even as the Margao Court has summoned the track doubling activists on Saturday morning in connection with the case filed by the Union of India, the Goencho Ekvott has appealed to all Niz Goemkars to make their presence felt at the JMFC, Margao and express their peaceful show of solidarity with the activists.
Goencho Ekvott convenor Creson Antao has requested the people to attend a peaceful show of solidarity with the activists implicated in a criminal case, in the railway double tracking, one of the three linear projects.
Antao said Goencho Ekvott has only urged the people to attend the peaceful show of solidarity with the activists. He said the activists will come to know on the nature of cases only after they are served chargesheets in the court. Though Antao wondered whether the case pertains to the Chandor agitation or the agitation at Arossim, he said a clear picture would emerge only after the chargesheets are served on the five activists in the court room on Saturday.
