Stating that health authorities are willing to go to any extent to provide vaccination facilities to the people, Immunisation Officer Dr Rajendra Borkar said they are even willing to set up such facilities at Ganesh darshan sites if one can get beneficiaries for vaccination.
“If any Ganesh mandal says that they are going to give us a site to setup such facility and if they are willing to bring in beneficiaries for vaccination, we will volunteer to set up session there,” Dr Borkar assured.
“If the mandal can bring around 100-200 people, we will be extremely happy to provide vaccination there,” the doctor said and informed that for vaccination programme to be successful there needs to be vaccine, vaccinator and vaccinee.
“As for vaccine and vaccinator, we are ready to come even during the night time if one can get the vaccinee as our tagline itself says 'You just say yes',” he added.
