Panchayats Minister Mauvin Godinho said the ground staff of Chicalim Sub District Hospital (SDH) would be absorbed under the Goa Human Resources Development Corporation (GHRDC).
“We have also been giving them a one-month bonus over a period of three months to all hospital staff to motivate them. This bonus for three months has been arranged by Anand Bose in his personal capacity and we begun distributing them since last month.”
“While recognising their great work, I have also spoken to the government to absorb this staff under the GHRDC,” said Godinho.
Meanwhile on another front, Godinho hit out at the Goencho Awaaz party and accused it for bankrupt vision and political issues and insisted that the issue of de-notifying of land acquired by the State government to set up a parking lot for the Dabolim airport, is long dead.
Speaking to reporters at a function in Chicalim Sub District Hospital where ITC distributed oxygen concentrators to the hospital under CSR, many dead and stale issues are being revived to mislead the people, ahead of the assembly elections.
“It is very clear that land acquired for parking was acquired wrongly and had to be reversed, which was done. The issue is long dead and buried. It only shows how they (GA) are roaming with dead issues.”
“This shows the bankruptcy in their thought and issues and as elections approach closer, they will come with other such empty and stale issues because they cannot get anything concrete to pull this government down," said Godinho
