The Colva police on Friday registered an offense under section 294 of the IPC and under section 67 if the IT Act against actor Milind Soman.
Colva police station in charge PI Melson Colaco informed that the FIR has been registered against the actor for an alleged obscene act which was uploaded on the social media.
The police believe that the obscene act must have been allegedly done on the beach in the jurisdiction of Colva police station. The police is investigating.
When contacted, Superintendent of police, South Pankaj Kumar Singh informed that the police has taken action based on a complaint lodged by an organization Goa Suraksha Manch against Soman for allegedly running nude on a beach in South Goa and then allegedly circulating pics on social media.
