MARGAOBJP Curtorim Mandal organised a tree plantation programme under Sewa Pakhwada (A Fortnight for Service of the People) on Wednesday at Shree Ganpati Mahakali Temple, Maina Waghale, Curtorim. The programme was attended by a large number of locals. Cancer plants were planted at the premises of the temple at the hands of the temple priest and Dilip Naik, a Trustee member along with Curtorim BJP leader Anthony Barbosa, Mandal president Nilkanth Ekawade, Mandal vice president Mehboob Makandar and Mahila Morcha president Babita Borkar. The temple priest spoke on the occasion. The Temple Committee members have promised to take care of the newly planted cancer plants.
