TMC Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev said there’s no better choice than TMC candidate Anthony Peixoto for Curtorim constituency.
Dev was addressing the women of Curtorim at a corner meeting on Saturday. “Anthony knows that it’s the women who have built this small place called Curtorim which is the granary of Salcete. Curtorim is a true reflection of a woman's might and character - a provider for all,” Dev said.
She also spoke about how Anthony Peixoto is a fresh face and will live upto the promises committed in the party's assembly manifesto.
People, especially women of Panchbhat were really happy with Sushmita's presence in the area since no other prominent leader, let alone the local MLA has ever walked up the kuccha road.
