Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai on Saturday built on the exemplary development he’s done in Fatorda by urging the people of his constituency to join him in continuing the good work terming his manifesto as an answer sheet to questions, opinions and suggestions the people voiced during his door to door campaign.
The manifesto was released at a press conference in the presence of MMC chief Lyndon Pereira and other Fatorda Forward councillors. Apart from listing out the various development works under his watch as MLA, it promises a whole host of international quality infrastructure and services to the residents of Fatorda.
“For most parties, manifestos are a mere ritual and formality. But to us It’s not so. This is my vision for Fatorda, my party’s vision for Goa, and these are not mere words but our ‘utor’ to the people and we intend to keep it,” Vijai said.
The manifesto contains several developmental projects like townhall, Lake Project, stray dog rehabilitation, e-Gov, free wifi zones, garbage stations, a futuristic bus stand, e-Rickshaw public transport, IT Offices etc. It also ensures communal harmony, good governance, improving state laws, better infrastructure, education, sustainable mining and many others. Empowering farmers, women and youth are also key focus areas, all under the overarching motto of Goem, Goemkar, Goemkarponn, the central theme of GFP politics.
