With the repair of the Chorla road, passengers have demanded the resumption of the KTC bus service along the Goa-Belagavi highway via Chorla.
According to sources, the dilapidated road at Chorla Ghat had prompted authorities to divert the Panaji-Chorla-Belagavi KTC bus via Anmod Ghat.
The KTC bus would leave from Vasco in the morning and proceed to Belagavi via Panaji and Chorla Ghat.
The KTC bus service was convenient to people travelling between Panaji and Belagavi, while it was also a shorter route.
With authorities repairing the dilapidated road at Chorla Ghat, Karnataka has already begun plying some of its buses along the Goa-Belagavi route via Chorla. However, KTC has continued diverting its buses via Anmod Ghat.
