DM north orders diversion of traffic

The District Magistrate, North has effected diversion of traffic for the period from December 19 to December 20, 2020, during the visit of the President of India to Goa for the 60th Goa Liberation Day function. The diversion and closure of the road will be effective from 3 pm from December 19 till the conclusion of the scheduled function.

All the vehicles including route buses coming from KTC side and desiring to enter Panaji or proceed to Miramar, Dona Paula will be diverted near Bandodkar Statue to proceed via Jose Falcao Road “ Church Square “ AB road “ Hotel Palacio De Goa “ St Inez Junction (compulsory left) St Inez Church “ Fire Brigade Junction “ Hotel Goa International road.

All vehicles including route buses coming from Miramar/Dona Paula side will be diverted at Aivao Junction to proceed via Old Dona Paula “ Adarsh Circle - Hotel Goa International “ Fire Brigade Junction “DBB Marg.

The stretches of roads from MG Road from near Directorate of Accounts to Casa Dempo; DBB Marg from Bandodkar Status to Campal Ganesh; Campal Ganesh to NIO circle to Raj Bhavan (only during Carcade movement); lane from Cecol Bar to Real Agency; Lane from Udyog Bhavan to Varsha Bookstall; Lane from Ferry Wharf junction to Mishra Pedha; the stretch of road from Printing Press junction to Govinda building (M G Road) to Hero Honda showroom (P Shirgaonkar Road) to Misra Pedha (Menezes Braganza road) to Printing press junction (Dr Pissurlekar Road) and all the side lane connecting the above stretches of roads will be closed for the movement of vehicles.
