The Konkani Kala Kendra at Merces remembered the father of Opinion Poll, Dr Jack Sequeira, on his 107th birth anniversary by garlanding his bust at Merces on Wednesday.
Remembering the contribution of Dr Sequeira in keeping Goa as a separate State, the president of the Kendra Sebastiao Fernandes demanded that a life-sized statue of Dr Sequeira be installed at the Assembly complex.
Others present for the function included vice president Semy Braganza, treasurer Mathew De Souza and members Evaristo Fernandes and Robert Rodrigues.
