With the upsurge in cases of Covid-19, education authorities have now decided to conduct online final examinations for students of class IX and XI in Goa's schools and higher secondary schools.
A circular issued by the Directorate of Education on Friday said, the examination of class IX and XI should be conducted by allowing students to answer from their residences, much in the same manner as schools conducted it for students in classes up to class VIII.
On Thursday, Goa University too had announced that the semester end assessment for semesters other than the final year for all programmes would be held in the online mode.
