Fatorda police contemplate action against scrapyards

With cries for action against scrapyards reverberating around Fatorda, the Fatorda police have mulled action against the scrapyards under Section 133 of the CrPC.

In fact, Fatorda police station in-charge, PI Ditendra Naik pointed out that he has called for a meeting with the scrapyard owners operating in Fatorda police station area. “In the past, the Fatorda police had initiated action against the scrapyards. I am contemplating to initiate proceedings against the scrapyard under Section 133 of the CrPC by lodging a complaint with the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Margao,” he added.
