PORVORIM
A car was destroyed in a fire near the Kadamba depot in Porvorim on Monday. Officials of Porvorim Fire station said they had received a call at 11.50 am stating that the car (GA-07-L-1297) belonging to Milagrene Lopes had caught fire near the Kadamba depot.
The Porvorim fire services rushed to the spot with a fire tender and extinguished the fire.
It took nearly 40 minutes to extinguish the fire, according to a Porvorim fire services official.
Porvorim police have also the registered the case as a fire incident.
