The Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services has floated a Rs 12.68 lakh tender to develop an online fire safety training module to enhance training and capacity building within the department.
The proposed web-based platform will offer e-learning, training management and certification services for fire personnel, volunteers and external agencies. According to the department officials, the system is expected to maintain digital training records, track attendance, facilitate scheduling, and provide analytical dashboards to monitor training outcomes.
The module will feature nine core fire safety courses covering fire classification, evacuation procedures, electrical and kitchen fire safety, road accident response and disaster preparedness. It will also include online assessments and an automated system for issuing digital certificates to successful participants.
