"While contesting the recent assembly elections, we were aiming for 22 seats. Now, we have the support of 25 MLAs and five more MLAs from the opposition parties are in contact with our MLAs. By the year end, we will surely become 30,” said Ravi, while speaking to reporters after a meeting of the BJP state executive committee on Saturday.

“The high command is yet to give a nod, which is why we have not allowed the entry of these MLAs,” said CT Ravi.

When more details were sought regarding these five MLAs, Ravi refused to say much and replied: “The party strategy cannot be revealed in detail.”

Meanwhile on another front, Ravi has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is more popular than President of the United States Joe Biden.

“Modi is popular not only in India, but the world praises him. Today's popular leader is not the President of America, but our Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” the BJP leader said.

"Even during his visit to Japan, he (Modi) was leading from the front. The other leaders were all were following him,” he added.
