The Goa Institute of Skill Training (GIST) at Housing Board in Sankhali has offered 1 year certificate diploma courses, to provide job-oriented skill training with a strong focus on practical industry involvement.
The courses offered are front office management, housekeeping management, Panchakarma technician and yoga & wellness trainer, with admissions open for the academic year 23-24.
The courses are open to fresh graduates seeking to enhance their employability as well as working professional looking to upskill.
The GIST claims to have state-of-the-art facilities, modern equipment, and industry-standard resources create an optimal setting for practical skill development. Career counselling services, resume building assistance, and interview preparation are also offered to help students confidently navigate the job market.
The GIST plans to offer different courses across diverse industries starting with healthcare and hospitality and moving to engineering and IT.
