The Goa Mining People's Front (GMPF) has decided to put on hold its rally scheduled for 16 March on on account of the ensuing Panaji Municipal elections code of conduct and assurances from the Chief Minister that, that some positive outcome is expected which will pave the way ahead for immediate mining restart in the state.
Hence, it is decided to keep on hold all protest march and dharna by GMPF till 31 March, said a press note.
However, GMPF will continue to organise the conner meetings, the press note added.
