Goa receives second lot of GST compensation

The Central Finance Ministry has released a second lot of the GST compensation of Rs 6,000 crores for 16 states including Goa.

The states which have received GST compensation include Andra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Puducherry.

The other 21 states have opted for a special window. Due to Covid, the state revenue situation is grim.
