A native of Telangana involved in theft cases in that State was arrested in Baga on Wednesday in a joint operation between the Goa and Telangana Police.
The Calangute police received information that the alleged accused Chandru, involved in thefts in Telangana, was moving in the Baga area. Accordingly, Calangute police deputed a team to Baga to trace the accused. A team of Telangana Police also arrived in the State and in a joint operation with Goa Police nabbed the accused.
Calangute PI Paresh Naik along with Police Constables Vijay Naik, Amir Garad, Sanjyot Kerkar assisted the Telangana Police, which led to the swift arrest of the accused.
