Cumbarjua MLA Pandurang Madkaikar called upon Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to include the subject of administration in the school curriculum so that students are well versed with the government functioning from their schooling days itself.
Speaking at the GIPARD function at Old Goa, Madkaikar said every citizen should be aware of government procedures.
“Many graduates do not know how to apply for government schemes and jobs. Therefore, it is important that administration is taught in schools,” Madkaikar informed.
“Today, elected members like panchas and sarpanchas do not understand procedures. But when the administration is included in the school curriculum, they won’t face problems when they go on to become panchas, sarpanchas, MLAs and ministers,” Madkaikar opined.
