Reacting to the legal notice sent by Santa Cruz panchayat, activist Tara Kerkar remain unfazed and stated that she would not tender any apology on the issue as she did not target the panchayat but only a CWC member.
“I never targeted the panchayat authorities but only the CWC member for raising hand in support of illegal activities,” Kerkar informed reporters at Azad Maidan, on Thursday.
“I will not be cowed down by such notices and I will reply to the same as in my statements I have not taken names of any panch from Santa Cruz,” Kerkar added.
“I will not tender apology as demanded and I am willing to face the issue in the court as well,” she stated.
