Man held with drugs worth Rs 1.88 lakh in Canacona

A person from Ramgarh-Bihar but residing at Char Rasta, Canacona was arrested on charges of possessing drugs worth Rs 1.88 lakh in Canacona on Wednesday night.

Canacona police acted on reliable information and raided a rented room in Char Rasta, Canacona. During the raid, police apprehended Rohit Kumar in possession of a bag containing a substance suspected to be Ganja weighing 1.883 kg and valued at Rs 1.88 lakh.

The accused has been arrested under the NDPS Act and further investigation is in progress by Canacona PSI Rajasekhar Reddy.
